From flab to fabulous!











{August 13, 2010}   There’s always something!

Last week, I was plagued by a sore hip flexor (that could be caused by overcompensating because my sore knee), which lead me to adjust my workouts – I only worked out once.  I wasn’t too happy about it, but Monday was a holiday and we’d been away at the cottage.  That in itself was enough to help me gain about 5 lbs!  I luckily had a massage appointment scheduled for this week.  She worked so hard at it, I was bruised!  I couldn’t believe how fast it healed – I was able to go to boxing this week.  I was cautious not to aggravate it again.  This week was catch up week for workouts.  I boxed twice and today I ran for about 45 minutes and did 30 minutes on the stepper :) .  I was very proud of myself!  I’ve been eating clean all week too (compared to the bad eating done at the cottage!).  No cheat day for me today even though it’s Friday… maybe tomorrow!
